I use a few simple conventions for documenting seaquell.
In particular, I use midje-style metaconstants.
...expr... is any expression
...expr-list... is a single expression or a collection of them
...name... is either a keyword, symbol, or string (anything you can call name on)
...name-list... is a single name or a collection of them
...sql-kw... is something convertible to one or more consecutive SQL keywords.
Most often it will be a Clojure style keyword like :left-outer-join which would become LEFT OUTER JOIN or a string like "decimal(4,3)" which would pass through unmodified.
...select... is a select statement
In general, any time a metaconstant ends with -list... it means either a single item of the type or a collection of them.
Clojure code is shown in code blocks like this:
(+ 2 2)
REPL interaction includes the => prompt before forms that are evaluated and omits the prompt for the results of evaluation.
Not all results are shown.
