Because the machine default was Java 21, JDK 25 was installed portably under ignored .toolchains/. Verification selects it only for its process and does not change system Java settings.

Environment, smoke run, 1 test/5 assertions, offline harness 1/1, lint, format, benchmark entry point, secret handling, and the JDK 25 CI foundation all passed. Outputs included deps.edn, standard source/test directories, safety instructions, .env.example, ignore rules, lint/format configuration, CI, and one-command verification/JDK installation.
No Binance REST/WebSocket, authentication, JSON, or endpoint production code was added before official research. Next: Phase 1 research and API contract.
